Luc Belisle and his family were introduced to Edelweiss in 1989 when he purchased his first home in the area. Living in nature became his daily escape and gave him the strength to continue a challenging career. He found this was a fantastic community to raise a family in and was fortunate to do so with his two daughters (pictured with him here, on their horses in Edelweiss). His family's experience is what he longs to share with like-minded folks through the community of Edelweiss Lakes.
Edelweiss Lakes consists of 450 residential acres, surrounded by approximately 750 acres of crown land. This allows for over 1000 acres of access to trails and a multitude of lakes. Edelweiss is known for its popular ski hill, golf course and proximity to Wakefield. This has made for creating the perfect setting for folks to enjoy the tranquility of nature while remaining close to a city centre. A cottage and a home in one location.
